AAL Brokers New Dr. Pol Branded Products to Debut at 2020 Global Pet Expo

Dr. Pol, the charismatic and celebrated veterinarian and star of Nat Geo WILD’s #1 hit reality television series The Incredible Dr. Pol, has entered into a comprehensive licensing agreement with Posh Paws, a division of iWorld, for a wide variety of Toys, Beds, Collars, Leashes, Harnesses, Functional Apparel, Grooming Accessories, Hygiene Products & Home and Travel Accessories that will all feature the Dr. Pol brand imprint.

The products will debut at Global Pet Expo 2020 in Orlando, FL February 26-28 at the Orange County Convention Center.   Dr. Pol’s deal with Posh Paws was brokered by All American Licensing.

AAL to Debut Brand at Global Pet Expo 2020 in Orlando

All-American Licensing has announced the signing of Dr. Michelle Oakley, star of the highly-rated, Nat Geo Wild television series, Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet, for brand representation and new product development under the banner Dr. Oakley Wilderness Vet. Dr. Oakley will be attending the Global Pet Expo in Orlando on February 26, 2020.

Currently shooting its eighth season, Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet is an exciting TV series which chronicles the adventures of this renowned animal doctor and her three daughters. The trio make house calls and perform veterinarian practices all of kinds to a vast array of both domestic and wild animals located in and around the remote Yukon Territory of Northern Alaska. The family does everything from chasing boars by helicopter, to stalking wolverines in the wilderness, to caring for a large family’s dogs, cats, horses and other pets.

Since the health and safety of animals is incredibly important to the people who live in the Yukon, Dr. Oakley and her daughters prove that they will do quite literally everything in their power to protect these precious creatures. The weekly TV series chronicles how Dr. Oakley juggles her multiple roles as a full-time vet, wife, and mom, all in addition to running a renowned animal clinic in Alaska.

Hilary Farr to celebrate new fabric collection with Covington at Showtime

HIGH POINT — Following the October launches of her new furniture, rug and lighting collections at High Point Market, celebrity designer and television personality Hilary Farr is set to return to High Point to celebrate the launch of her new fabrics with Covington Fabric & Design during ITA Showtime, Nov. 17-20.

First teased during the launch of her upholstered furniture collection with Braxton Culler, the full collection of patterns, textures and signature prints will be on display in Covington’s eighth floor Market Square Tower showroom.

Farr, best known for her role in HGTV’s “Love It or List It” design reality show, will be on hand in the showroom throughout the semi-annual fabric market, introducing the collection to buyers and designers. She will also take part in a luncheon and meet-and-greet on Nov. 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the showroom.

Her new collection’s 63 unique SKUs range in assortment from sophisticated neutrals and grays to fun and fresh fuchsia, as well as black-and-white combinations.

Standouts include Wabi Sabi, described by Chari Voehl, vice president of design at Covington, as “an exceptional woven textured solid that acts as a building block within the new collection,” which is available in five color combinations. Other notable pieces include Lounge Lizard, a modern take on a textured reptile skin jacquard; Hello Polly, a digital print of parakeets perched on tropical floral vines; and Le Tigre, a print that calls on tribal flair to put a twist on a traditional animal skin look.

Across the board, Farr’s new looks are inspired by her connections to travel and causes, with prints like the Japanese landscape print Farr Away being inspired by her connections to Asian-inspired design elements.


‘Love it’ – Braxton Culler sets Hilary Farr line for October unveil

HIGH POINT — Braxton Culler is set to launch a licensing collaboration for indoor and outdoor furniture with British-Canadian designer and television personality Hilary Farr at the upcoming High Point Market as part of the Hilary Farr Designs Collection.

Farr is a co-host of HGTV’s popular “Love It or List It” home renovation series and president of Hilary Farr Designs, which has offices in Toronto and New York. She has designed and renovated properties in Australia, the United Kingdom, California, New York and Toronto. Those projects include the homes several celebrities.

Farr bills the furniture collection as “Brit Chic” and said it will blend the British design aesthetic she acquired growing up in the U.K. with American preferences for comfort and scale.

“One of the defining elements of the collection is who I am,” Farr said. “I have a British aesthetic, but I’ve lived in America long enough to know what (consumers) want here.”

Braxton Culler “was already embracing a lot of what I love in design,” she continued, and Farr could adapt the company’s existing niche to new styles. “The sweep of an arm, the turn of a leg can completely redefine a frame.”

Dr. Pol & Growth Cell Enter into Licensing Agreement

GrowthCell Global Corp. (GCG) has entered into a licensing agreement with Dr. Jan Pol, a veterinarian & star of Nat Geo WILD’s reality television series “The Incredible Dr. Pol” for a comprehensive line of CBD products for pets.

Hilary Farr readies for off-screen debut

HGTV designer celeb Hilary Farr is underway in her off-screen efforts to expand her brand into the home furnishings arena.

After several months of research, the star of “Love It or List It” has partnered with five licensees to create the Hilary Farr Designs Collection for the home. She is working with licensing agency All American Licensing to build her home collection.

The launch is set for October during High Point Market.

The licensees are:

  • Braxton Culler Inc. for indoor and outdoor furniture, including living, dining, and bed room and patio furniture
  • Covington Fabric + Design for upholstery fabrics
  • Grandview Gallery for lighting
  • AB Home Inc. for room décor and accessories
  • Kaleen Rugs for area rugs, both indoor and outdoor qualities

“We are excited to partner with these brands,” Farr told Furntiure Today. “They are great anchors to getting our brand and designs out in the marketplace. I am already working closely with them to have the first line ready for October market.”

Kaleen Senior Vice President Blake Dennard said, “The main reason we are very interested in working with Hilary is her willingness to work on the product with us, directly.

“She is very hands-on as far as what we are going to make for the collection. She understands her customer, and she gets the color sense of the equation and what [her customer] is looking for, pattern-wise. We were looking for a real partnership, and we have found that with Hilary.”

Farr said that for this new endeavor, she is “digging deeper to reveal another layer” of her Hilary Farr Designs interior decorating and design firm.

“I’m taking my design imprint to the next level,” she explained.

That includes home textiles “that have a sense of vintage but are reimagined for today.”

And looks drawn from nature “because that is what inspires me, truly.”

Farr continued: “I am an outdoor person. I love all the flora and fauna. I haven’t met an animal I didn’t like, including creepy crawlies.”

Geometrics will also be represented as well an updated chinoiserie looks across the collection’s portfolio of designs.

“My collection will be about what speaks to me personally and what I love,” Farr said. “It will be something more personal and from what I see resonates with my clients. The collection will present a softer, gentler way of looking at your home.”
